It would have been easy to just lose that 5th set, he showed great determination and grit fighting until the very end. People in GM are crazy

Poor Fer.

He had the match, but then got tight.

Have to give some credit to Ancic - he fought like crazy to stay in.

Poor Fer! What a heartbreaker. Maybe it's luck that my video only caught the first 2 and 1/2 sets, eh?

For Fer and the chicas

I think for me the most talented of all times was (Marcelo) Rios. Marat Safin, 2004

Marcelo has an enormous talent. Gaudio, RG champion 2004

"Rios ... he has a beautiful game, great forehand and great touch," Federer, World number 1

Guillermo Coria: "Ríos and Vilas are my two idols"

Re: WIMBLEDON,get ready for His Royal HOTTIE Fer!!!¡VAMOS CHICO!

Disgusting outcome.

Fer really lost it in the fourth, when he had 4-1* and *4-2 30-0, but lost 5 games in a row. With Mario's serve it's not much he could've done in the fifth, I was surprised he stayed strong though, he could've easily just gave up.
Still a very good tournament and he'll be round 13 in the new rankings next week.

Re: WIMBLEDON,get ready for His Royal HOTTIE Fer!!!¡VAMOS CHICO!

Tan cerca, tan lejos...

He podido ganarle el partido.

Re: WIMBLEDON,get ready for His Royal HOTTIE Fer!!!¡VAMOS CHICO!

Just ran it through the translator

So close, so far...
The Spanish Fernando Verdasco complained of the occasions lost in its party of eighth of final, in which fell before the Croatian Mario Ancic in five setsEFE

LONDON--The Spanish Fernando Verdasco complained of the occasions lost in its party of eighth of final, in which fell before the Croatian Mario Ancic in five sets, although he/she opted to look at the positive side of its participation, its "good game" and that it will also go out of Wimbledon with the best ránking in its career.

"Neither I have a lot to say of the party that I have lost", he/she affirmed the from Madrid one. I have had "it livestock and I have been escaped. There have been many circumstances: he/she has made me break, I have made him break. I have been able to win him the party. In fact I don't know if I have had a party ball. So many games... the head didn't water me, so many hours in the sun... "

Verdasco was declared "a little decayed and sad" for the party but he/she tried to look at the positive side. I have played very well this week and next Monday I will go out with the best ránking in my career. I cannot catch and to think more of the party. The more think of it, worse."

Verdasco began winning the first two sets, it lost the third but it was redoed in the room, in which broke the serve of Ancic and he/she put on with 4-2. The from Madrid one affirmed that he/she had had "livestock the party", and he/she referred to the necessity of carrying out a more aggressive game as desencadenante of several vital errors, among them the 14 double made lacks.

Mario Ancic, his executioner, was the last one in winning in grass to the Swiss Roger Federer, with who will be rediscovered in the rooms of final. However, Verdasco didn't give him possibility some to the player of Split-up: "(Federer) it has not lost a party in almost the whole history of the tennis, seems that it takes playing in grass from the year fifty and it doesn't lose. If Federer breaks an ankle it can win him. But playing normal I don't see him any possibility."

He/she also referred to their partner of double, Feliciano López that a spectacular party one hour it was taken later in front of the chipriota Marcos Baghdatis.

First it admitted that if "Feli" requested him a rest of twice as much for fatigue he/she would understand it. Also, he/she believes that its confrontation in front of Wawrinka or Safin should not be more complicated than that of Baghdatis, circumstance that he/she invites him to think that its partner can arrive for the first time to semifinals in his career.

Regarding the party of the Spanish selection, it indicated that he/she had seen it at home. I have had the bad luck that all the parties from rooms have plundered me with party the following" day, he/she said.

I "enjoyed a lot but until the referee didn't whistle I was with many nerves. But I passed it very well with my family, friends, it was very amusing", it concluded.
