Challengers is the lowest I go

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Yeah, I remember this. Even in Musters prime (1995-96) and at a time when Edberg was far over the hill, Edberg still beat Muster 5 times out of 5. Impressive.

It's a bit harsh to call Edberg a turkey on this one, after all, he won 2/7 of their matchs, it's just that they meet each other very often.

You're right, thanks On tenniscorner.net results from 70's are incomplete. BTW they have problems with counting Davis Cup matches... I've corrected Borg-Gerulaitis H2H...

What I find most interesting about this record, is that with one exception (the RR last year) they were all QFs or better. That means Andy marched through his quarter or half...only to meet a brickwall. . *sigh*

I love my girls.

Brilliant thread, George.

Is the same case with Gonzalez and a loads of other players that have those horrible numbers against Fed. Actually, the worser the record someone have against Federer, *better* player he is, because the higher the round advanced, more are the chances of having to face Federer. Strange law.
