This post screams 'I never watched Krajicek play'. It's the general consensus that Krajicek was one of the most talented players of the 90's. At least he could volley, unlike many players today.
Do you honestly believe that? Besides, we are talking technical ability. Muster and Chang are superior to many players on clay by being more effective, not by being more technically gifted. Their mentality and their grinding style of play brought them success on clay. They are better than Safin on clay (well, who knows if Safin was 100% from 2003/2005) but certainly not more technically gifted.
