Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Fabio is becoming a big occasion (and all surface) player .

You would think he'd lose easily to Benneteau on grass, but there's still a small chance.

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Fognini finds a way to come up with big shots and win the big points when he gets behind and things look grim. And he was a way of remaining calm when his opponent tightens up.

He's fun to watch. And....frankly, he couldn't possibly be any better-looking...

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Fabio had some very good chances in the 4th set: he broke Benneteau twice but got broken immediately...
Anyway,a good run in Wimbledon. Good luck in next tournament

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Fognini did have a fine run at Wimbledon...particularly unexpected on grass...and now two excellent majors in a row.

He's really grown on me as a player to watch...(and not just for his attractiveness).

I saw him in Hamburg yesterday (before a training session with Berrer), I found him radiant:

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Hello fellow Fabio supporters

I have been a fan of the beautiful Fabio for some years, but can say that he really won my heart during the last two weeks... I had the chance to see his matches live in Bastad and Hamburg. He is a real fighter which I love most about him. What stroke me is that he plays his best tennis when he is behind. He had very good opportunities to win the second set against Ferru, was break up but then played a bad service game and rest of set. However on the other hand you can be sure that when Fabio is back a break it is not over, as he fights till the end. The matches I saw were all quite rollercoasters...I do not want to be his coach!!!

He was also really nice to his fanclub and supporters and seems to be a special person I wish him all the luck in the next tournaments and hope he can improve his ranking. Forza Fabio!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to Pico Monaco, Juan Chela, Gaston Gaudio, Machi Gonzalez, Edu Schwank, Fabio Fognini, Roger Federer, Marco Chiudinelli, Rafa Nadal, Juan-Carlos Ferrero, Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer and Marc Lopez

Vamos ARG DC team!!! 2011 is the year to win the title!!!! Vamos!!!
