He was 5-0 up but lost the first set in a tie-break. Rain delay at present, but he will be kicking himself for the missed chance.

All Italian Players

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Thomas Berdych

Fernando Verdasco

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

well, he made the MD after a 3set win against Vliegen

much effort these days between matches and flights

hopefully he has a good draw although seeing the draw hardly he can win more than 1 match

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Well, he had a very busy schedule the last 3 days and I think he did very well. At least he has tomorrow off to relax

I hear Fognini may have an injury.

Is this true?

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Classy player, very inteligent, and a true fighter, he has proven it from timr to time, like against Gabash or today against mighty Gimeno_Traver...

Alla ricerca di un piccolo grande amore....

Re: Fabio Fognini - The Hope of Italy

Fognini had a thigh problem, this plus he didn't want to be there.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
