That's an awesome book. One of those books that depicts poverty, squalor and decrepitude so vividly that your meals taste better and your bed feels more comfortable after reading it.

Now, I am totally GAGA over the Twilight Series. No words can describe how much I am obsessed with this series now...saying that I love it is a huge understatement.

I'm already half way through Eclipse, and I just started the series a short time ago!!!

I don't know why but I love the entire series. It's going to kill me when I finish Eclipse (probably tomorrow...) and have to wait until August 2 for the next one.

I'm with you - I'm GAGA over it!

And I looked at the trailer on youtube for the movie....not sure I like their version of Edward...I picture him much different.

Hey, hey, hey! Who would say that a petty troll as GlennM aka Gu-Gu is, has such wonderful tastes in literature...I saw his lists earlier.
George Orwell - Down And Out In Paris And London is a great book, it's been 20 years how I read it. "Plonger"! Whenever I come at the restaurant or at the hotel for lunch, I remember Orwell's stories and I got sick. It's been translated on serbian as "Nobody and Nothing in Paris and London" (literally).

At the moment, I'm reading "Half of the yellow sun", Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Beautiful.

At the moment, I am reading "My experiments with truth" by Gandhi. I also have Madame Bovary lined up.

Same for me. I first heard about this because of Facebook - everywhere I look, there's the name: Edward Cullen. And I was like "who the heck is this guy?" so I searched it in Wikipedia but wasn't that interested even after reading it. But I told my sister about it, then we decided to buy the book. After she finished reading it, she was all high praises for the book but I got to read the book maybe after 2 weeks that she did.....and I guess, the rest is history!

Now, I am SO totally hooked on the series. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn...I'm counting the days!

I guess Robert Pattinson is an 'okay' Edward, I think he'll do fine. I mean, the way Bella or Stephenie Meyer describes Edward, I don't think there's a guy in this world who can play him perfectly or even looks like him at all (unless there really are vampires out there).

The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doige

A very interesting book on "neuro-plasticity" and the ability the brain has in adapting to changes in it's physical state and changes in lifestlye that can help cure certain diseases.

It's always Night, or we wouldn't need Light. - Thelonius Monk (via Thomas Pynchon)

For the first time, the whole Harry Potter series. To see what the hype was all about. First book is really good.
