I live in a valley that has cliffs on both sides. On the west they are 1.000 feet high so the twilight comes to the valley while the mountains are still in full sun. It's impossible to get a picture of how this really looks. Here everything is up and down. Very steep cliffs of red rock. But not much greenery except for here in the valley. There are no lush grasslands. It's mostly sage and rabbit brush and junipers and pinions.
In LOTR RTOK, when they lit the beacons from the mountains.... I was like......... This is so great. And I loved where they put the horse kingdom... you know who I mean... can't think of the name at the moment.
I think that there are also few people in NZ. I like wide open spaces with no people. For a long time at work my wall paper was a picture of a lake with mountains in the background. It was taken at twilight. I was so beautiful and peaceful. There were probably buildings and things around the lake, but because of the lighting they were obscured.
