Awwww hokkien for the most part of my young life was tough.
i suppose it was the pronounciation that sounded really oddish to my ears.
cantonese was easier but as time passed, i began to converse with my dad in hokkien whereby, i can speak australian-accented-hokkien which sounds blah

teochew, sounds siimilar to hokkien. funny, i always had the pre-conceived notion that singapore was predominantly hokkien/mandaring speaking i am so wrong
