Yeah, for that old laptop it's the same, it costs us. But my new laptop doesn't. I just need to take it to Samsung Service and everthing is free.

Never ever give up

OK, I understand, lots of people I studied with didn't want to say anything more either. I hope you'll do better than expected - they often did

Diana.

I'm glad the laptop is now working properly, and I bet whoever owns it is very relieved. With my pc's record I know just how they must have felt.

When something fails here it is often the internet connection. Fortunately, it's been a while since last time. But once a couple of years ago I was without internet for two weeks. Except of course I had it at work. That didn't cost me money but was real impractical....

If anybody has a spare expert on call I could borrow at times. Send them my way!

I'm very glad to read that you're on the mend. Sort of a way of warding off disappointment by not expecting too much in the first place? Apologies in advance if I've misinterpreted what you said Naz.

Oh internet problems.. Here too at times but since we changed modem to router (because of WiFi option) the new router is cool and I didn't have internet problems since a while.

Good to hear I too haven't in a while, but I used to have quite often. It was very annoying. One uses the net quite a bit....

That's very annoying indeed. I had lot of trouble about internet on last year - around this time until the end of year. But that was a different story. After it I changed to router.

Diana. Not sure if I'm coming down with a cold or something. Or maybe I just feel cold because I'm a bit tired. It's more likely to be that I think, as I don't feel that bad. And how are you mon amie?

I'm sure she's delighted to have it in tip-top order once again. Desperate about their pc? Your mum and I should probably have a chat about it one day.

It's okay at the moment, but it wouldn't start for some unknown reason yesterday morning. Fortunately my brother did something and managed to get it up and running once again. Fingers crossed it carries on behaving itself...

It certainly makes a change from everyone having to listen to me wittering on about mine. It is for now, but wasn't yesterday morning when it wouldn't start for love nor money. Fortunately, one of my brothers did some jiggery pokery, which I, being a technotwit of the highest order didn't understand, which had it running withing a fairly short time thankfully.

I hope your brother talked some sense into it this time, to last.

He must've done Markus as it's generally been behaving and been fine since then. The broadband hasn't dropped out, which is a particular party trick it has, so I won't say anymore for fear of jinxing it...

Hi Ann

Yeah that's the idea But then I'm very ambitious as well; so even though I don't expect the best, I still feel disappointed if the result is average. So it's a dilemma really. I want an A, but I don't expect an A. But if I don't get an A, I'll be crying my eyes out (and of course, work harder next time)
