Haven't got any concrete plans yet. Will probably watch some winter sports, they're big in Norway. Read a few books. We'll see. I'll continue to log in here, though, that's for sure

I promise I will, don't worry I did last year so I have credibility

I haven't seen many Israelis participate in winter sports, so I'm not surprised you don't broadcast it. All winter sports are performed either on snow or on ice, and you don't have much of that.

My favourite is biathlon. Skiing and shooting. That's a fun sport Also I like speed skating, and I occasionally watch alpine skiing, ski jumping, cross country skiing and curling. Not all if it, though, that would take far too much time. Tennis is my main sport

Re: Ye Olde Castle Vol.66 - The Spy Who Came In From The Cold...

Even we have not started with winter sports yet Season starts in November. But I fully agree you don't have the weather for it.

As for skiing being dangerous, alpine skiing is. Definitely. But cross country skiing is not.

Re: Ye Olde Castle Vol.66 - The Spy Who Came In From The Cold...

Living in Norway, one tends to try most basic winter sports at least once, skiing among them. Of course, my attempts at alpine skiing and ski jumping were in much smaller hills and so not nearly as dangerous. Cross country skiing is what I've done most.

No surprise there

Did you have halloween when you were a kid? The tradition only began in Nowray ten years ago or something like that. I was put out the first couple of times, didn't know there would be kids coming at my door wanting candy.

It started because merchants sensed a possibility, I guess. People shop for halloween where it is celebrated. So if you're a shop owner, all the more season to introduce it. And kids liked it, so it stuck. I've given out candy several years now

You look adorable in that costume
