Where are you planning to play for the rest of the year - do you work out schedules or just look week-by-week?
How has Helsinki been lucky for you managing wise?

Well I have been putting a lot more thought into where I will play until the end of the season, but my ranking is in transition from CH's to the main tour, so it's not as clear cut as I would like, I will certainly be playing the Masters events, after Shanghai I will probably play Moscow because I think it will be the least popular event that week, I will be waiting until Sunday to commit for that week's event, then I'm not sure if I will play a CH or Basel or Valencia qualys, a Sunday commit again, so Paris for sure after that, then hopefully Bogota if it stays there, if not Bratislava I suppose, the next week I should be in the CH finals in singles, don't know if I can play say Helsinki as well, I might play 1 more CH after that.

Re: Ye Olde Castle Vol.66 - The Spy Who Came In From The Cold...

I'm playing all ATP until Aus Open with joe87 since my doubles ranking allows it.
To hell with singles for now.. might not play a singles match the rest of the year unless I can sneak into qualifying.

I thought about this and I could have just played challengers to improve my singles but then my current doubles ranking would be wasted on max 90 point tournaments.

Tennis Tipping Ranking

The CH win I had today is really good for me, because it means I will no question be in Shanghai qualys, I also might even be lucky enough to nab a seed there.
Thanks, nice to know

Adey said he fears he gets drawn for his friend and parnter (I don't know he felt it) and yeah, the draw was that.

Didn't you say before you got 11 points for St. Petersburg, well you actually got just 5, which doesn't help at all.

Sorry I said it, but it's true, I hope we never meet in R1 at least ever again.

Hi, how was sleeping?

It's not so bad. I was doubles partner with Goldmund for about a year. I faced him twice in 1R, beat him both times

That's pretty good luck to have played them just 2 times over a year, my last sort of regular partner and I never met when teaming up, I really never want to have to play Di in R1.

Hi, how was sleeping?
Probably I said 10 but I'm not even sure. After I saw it's more 5 points anyway. On summer I saw few of 9 points wasn't even on countable and I dind't know what changed since that. But I usually don't follow ranking if I don't get 20 points at least.

Never mind and I also hope it. That's not good.

Thanks, it was fine. Yesterday as I haven't sleep at night, I was very sleepy and went to bed after 5 pm. My alarm woke me up at 3,30 am and I slept well really.

For you it's getting late right?

Peter I really don't like matches like that

Well that was the first event I ever managed - I'd wanted to try and have a go at managing for a while but was worried that I'd make a mess of it - I plucked up the courage and volunteered to manage it - and it went quite well and that was really the making for me on the forum and how I started to get known. I really enjoyed doing it and look where I am now
