Re: The MotoGP Threat

yeah, he was kinda uneasy when he had to shake Rossi's hand.

I suck at TT so there's no reason to brag with my 1st round exits :retard:

Gibernau may miss Portugal MotoGP

Sete Gibernau could miss the Portuguese MotoGP on Sunday after injuring his shoulder in the opening race in Spain.

The Honda rider led his home race until the final lap when Yamaha's Valentino Rossi forced his way through and sent Gibernau spinning into the gravel.

"My involvement is doubtful," said Gibernau, who eventually finished second in Jerez.

"The motorbike's handlebar hit my shoulder, which has been operated on two times already."

Re: The MotoGP Threat

Sorry, I haven´t been around in a while.

Damn, Rossi won again. It´s about time for a new champion in my opinion.

Re: The MotoGP Threat

From the Beeb....................

Gibernau commits to Portugal race

Gibernau was not impressed with Rossi's move
Sete Gibernau will race in Portugal this weekend despite injuring his shoulder in the opening race in Spain.
The Honda rider led most of his home race until Yamaha's Valentino Rossi forced his way through on the final corner and sent him into the gravel.

"I don't think I will 100% for the race, and this bothers me, but I will definitely be in Estoril" he said.

"I feel really motivated for the next race and am focused on recovering as best I can to continue my good form."

Gibernau had earlier rated his chances of racing in Portugal as "doubtful".

The incident damaged a tendon in his left shoulder, on which he has already had two operations.

Re: The MotoGP Threat

Wow Dani, what a talented guy, perfect race from him!!!!

I really hope Sete will race in Portugal. The race in Jerez was top until the last passing. What Rossi did is pure dirty dog behaviour. I always respected him for what he has achieved coz he defo is talented but this was soooo unfair. Such a betrayal for me, really.

Re: The MotoGP Threat

Gibernau ready for Rossi battle

Sete Gibernau is out for revenge when he clashes again with Valentino Rossi at Sunday's Portuguese Grand Prix.

The Spaniard was heading for victory at Jerez when Rossi sent him spinning into the gravel at the final corner.

"I'm feeling very highly motivated for the next grand prix," said Gibernau, who damaged a shoulder in the fall.

"All I'm thinking about is recovering as well as possible in order to continue in the same vein that we have started the championship."

World champion Rossi expects Gibernau to push him hard again this weekend.

"It was an amazing race and an important way to start the championship," said the Gauloises Yamaha rider.

"The level was very high and the race showed us which aspects of the 2005 bike we need to improve.

"We have a lot of work to do but the motivation of the whole team to defend the title is very high.

"Estoril will be another hard battle - the second one of 17 races. For sure Sete Gibernau is my strongest challenger this year.

"We have 16 more races to go and if he is at that level in every one of them he will be very difficult to beat."

Vale's my fave rider!!! But what he did was very "strange". The way he rode...I don't know. He seemed desperate.

This new "war" will be very hard, harder than the first one. I mean, this "Sete vs Rossi" will turn people radical. It's worse that in those years when Max was his "hated" rival.
