Dan Roan from the BBC asks Van Gaal this peach of a question:

What do you know about Manchester United?

farçatards getting their panties in a bunch, NID. Delusional folks. Yesterday's result won't change a thing, it will remain a terrible titleless season for UEFAlona .

Love this regarding Norwich:

Snodgrass, Leroy Fer, Martin Olsson, John Ruddy and Nathan Redmond may all attract interest this summer and such has been the disillusionment within the support of late that fans have attempted to boycott the end-of-season awards and vote for the reserve goalkeeper Carlo Nash – who has yet to play a single game for the club – to win player of the year.

He's said he'll decline if he wins it, which could make things even funnier because a load of Ipswich fans have voted for Van Wolfswinkel so he might be the first alternative

Yeah, Sunday's going to be awkward prior to kick-off... and during the match as well because Ipswich are apparently planning to fly a banner over Carrow Road. Not sure what it'll say, we'll see if it's particularly clever.

I agree with acacacacademy.

LOL the only decent thing our former president did. Selling Flopsfinkel for 10M euros to Norwich

Proud fan of:

Sporting Clube de Portugal, Fútbol Club Barcelona, Newcastle United Football Club, FK Vilniaus Žalgiris

Re: Football zone vol 6

Just catching up, but this is weird:

Former Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has dropped his legal claim against the club after reaching a settlement on his sacking.
Mackay was dismissed in December after a difference of opinion with owner Vincent Tan about the direction of the club.
Sportsmail understands Mackay hasn't received any compensation and paid own legal fees, in addition to issuing apology.

In addition, the head of recruitment who was also sacked, Ian Moody says:

'I have today reached a final settlement agreement with Cardiff City Football Club and am very pleased that all parties will now be able to make a clean break and move on.

'Wherever mistakes were made during my time at the club, I wish to apologise for any part that I played in them, and for any offence I might have caused, particularly to Tan Sri Vincent Tan and all City fans.

Two men who appear to have been unfairly sacked and both due substantial compensation in normal circumstances, especially in Mackay's case, have walked away without a single penny and issued grovelling apologies?

I wonder if Malky and his incompetent pal have been naughty boys.......certainly spunking nearly 20 million on Andreas Cornelius and Gary Medel arouses suspicion.

Or

Mackay is about to be get a new job. Probably Norwich.

You're probably right with the latter, or at least something along those lines. Of course they can't pursue legal battles if they want a job somewhere else so they've probably got something lined up and Norwich seems the logical fit for Malky as he used to play for us. Mackay is clear favourite for the Norwich job according to the bookies. I imagine going down puts Lennon out of the picture - I always felt that was a potentially highly combustible appointment anyway.

West Brom job seems to be between Mel, Hughton and Sherwood.

Re: Football zone vol 6

Bundesliga is far too big now to have just 18 and not 20 teams anymore, I mean Ligue 1 has 20 and it's not as big, same with Serie A.

Re: Football zone vol 6

Bremen just scored on Bayer L., poor goal too, Bayer, where was the defence.

Schalke is leading Nurnberg 1-0, so really not looking good for Bayer L. right now. Nurnberg are looking good for the drop.

Elsewhere Braunschweig are down 1-0 to Hoffenheim, so relegation is looking near certain for them.

Re: Football zone vol 6

Bayer L. are now winning, but Schalke are too, so it doesn't mean anything unless Schalke loses.

Looking more and more certain Hamburg will play in the relegation playoffs and Nurnberg and Braunschweig will be sailing on down.

Almost forgot, Wolfsburg are winning over Borussia M., but it won't matter if Bayer L. wins.
