Another terrible match from Newcastle in the fighting for 8th place. Future is not bright at all. 4-0 really looking bad.
Well, they didn't fold... yet anyway Big win at Athletic, where Barca had lost and RM drawn. Another stunning performance from Diego Costa dragging them through to the finish line, he's definitely the best player in Europe this season.

Tremendous result for Atletico. I thought they would drop points in this one.

Thiago picked up a partial ligament tear in his knee during Bayern's draw with Hoffenheim today, expected to be out for 6-8 weeks.

We've been over this already, but 'definitely' really is pushing it one too far.

Barca won again after a penalty? Surprising

Arguably not definitely. Don't agree btw.

That's more NID than Almagro's chokes vs Ferrer.

The team and the manager are completely untested in such situations, that's true.

But for now it's not even the case that the title is ours to throw away. Games against both direct title rivals as well as Spurs are still to come.

Great results for Liverpool yesterday
7 wins and we have the title, but it's a long way to go. Let's start with beating Tottenham today

Re: Football zone vol 6

Spurs are such an infuriating team

Adebayor and Soldado are both excellent strikers, the latter will do well next season, 25 million for a 28 yo was unjustified though

Midfield is so unspectacular it hurts; Sandro and Dembele have all the makings to the perfect modern midfield, neither are though, not quite

Erikson and co in the attacking Mid and wings are just too lightweight and don't work hard enough in defense

Loris is a fantastic goalkeeper, Jan V a good CB, the rest to injury prone and too slow Walker aside

Next Season they should line up something like this

4-2-3-1: Loris, Walker, Vertonghan, New CB (should never have sold Caulker), New LB
Dembele, Sandro
Chadli, Erikson, New Attacker
Soldado

preferably a new Defensive MF too but I doubt they have the funds, really annoying team though imo

Welcome to MTF...

Re: Football zone vol 6

There's only one Luis Suarez

You bloody legend. What a finish.

Diego Costa best player in Europe you said, Manuel? Definitely even? Not for as long this guy is playing in Europe.

29th goal

Along with 21 assists.
