Re: Football zone vol 6

Though I am not a fan of saying certain events transpiring are good for the game, whether it being tennis, football or something else entirely, Atletico and Liverpool winning league titles while competing with the big money of their competition would be very gratifying (of course I am aware that these teams have quite some spending power of their own, but it pales next to the hype and wealth of Barca, Real, Chelsea and City).

Anims Víctor!

I am glad we are in second position again but seeing Hiphop Pinto defend the goal for the upcoming months is worrying

Re: Football zone vol 6

How to manage a football club: Eastern Europe points the way

• Bulgaria: Levski Sofia owner Todor Batkov, reacting to a cup defeat by stopping all staff salaries. "There are 11 games left, games of honour, games in which women must prove they are men. Those who fight and die for this club will get money. The rest can go to hell."

• Romania: Astra owner Ioan Niculae, following up last week's appraisalof club captain Constantin Budescu ("He eats too much and shows a punk attitude. A seven-year-old has a bigger brain") by banning him. "Budescu no longer exists."

I see "PileDrive" still hasn't come in with a response to either of my last two points...

It's almost as though he can't think of one

You did not seriously just type that.

Batkov is one of the worst things that have happened to Levski and the club will get back on the right track as soon as he leaves. Idiotic managerial decisions, constant meddling and micro-managing when he knows absolutely nothing about football, makes as ass of himself in the media week in and week out, the list goes on and on...

Guardiola pissing away Bayern team rhythm with these starting unit large-scale player turnovers now that Bundesliga in the bag...I mean resting a GoalKeeper..Let's see if the squad regain ruthlessness and precision on Tuesday against United..Don't think that will be the romp many are expecting..

Re: Football zone vol 6

Barça winning 3 very important and hard points, putting pressure on patético. Vamos!!!

In England, Crystal Palace saves football and humanity by defeating chelsea. CP is probably the lowets budget team of PL, lol. Suckit Mugrinho.

Another terrible match from Newcastle in the fighting for 8th place. Future is not bright at all. 4-0 really looking bad.

Proud fan of:

Sporting Clube de Portugal, Fútbol Club Barcelona, Newcastle United Football Club, FK Vilniaus Žalgiris

Re: Football zone vol 6

It is probably curtains for Chelsea as far as winning the PL..Not sure they are even 3rd favorite for CL..Their only hope is gut out it the ugly way--Inter Milan style..Another trophy-less season for Mourinho looms ..Sometimes, you have step aside for a bit, but he romantically jumped into another coaching gig..

Re: Football zone vol 6

Pulis totally out-smarted the special one today. Credit to him.

Looks like we're finishing 3rd this year, unless by some miracle we beat Liverpoops at Anfield.

Mou thinking too much about Juve and Liverpool and boom, the title is gone.

Lord knows I despise Fakervic, a truly detestable individual, but at least the guy has some balls. Murray is a pussy whipped man-child, an embarrassment to the human race and living proof that evolution isn't all that it is made out to be. If he had any dignity he would retire now rather than face further humiliation.
