Van Persie has just been ruled out for 4-6 weeks due to injury, he actually got injured in the 89th minute vs Olympiakos. United's chances of making the semi finals takes another blow.

Great draw. A Eurostar trip to Paris will be so much fun. 2nd leg at home should give us the edge.

Russia 2018 not affected by Crimea.

Qatar 2022 to go ahead despite evidence of corruption.

Do FIFA have any morals at all?

I actually think playing at home first is the advantage nowadays; keep it tight and nick a one goal win or at least stop the opposition scoring. You can then absorb and play on the counter in the away leg, I think Chelsea can do this much more effectively than they can chase a goal target.

I'm not a Chelsea fan but I'd like them to get through, a lot depends on Ibrahimovic because of his penchant for individual brilliance. At the moment I have a feeling Chelsea will keep him quiet, and though of course PSG have a multitude of excellent players, it's Ibrahimovic that puts them as high in the pecking order as they are.

Terrible draw. Yanited and Dortmund will get absolutely spanked, I've got hopes for Atletico but I'm resigned to accepting their defeat, only PSG-Chelsea is interesting.

This is even better than Joe Simunic playing with two yellow cards at WC 2006

Re: Football zone vol 6

Feel sympathy for Wenger but I'm more worried about relegation goings-on to be honest. Could be a laugh to see Piers Morgan meltdown.

That was United's only win over Top 9 opposition this season

horrific

day of high scoring, Derby winning vs. Forest 5-0, Forest have collapsed in the past 2 months, they only beat the Hammers a couple of months ago 4-0!

[QUOTE=Dave_92;21381562]United have a chance, everyone with Rooney and RVP always a chance.

Manchester United FC forward Robin van Persie will miss the quarter-final with holders FC Bayern München after being ruled out for up to six weeks with a knee sprain.
