Bellini, brazilian captain in 58' WC title died today. Now only 7 members of that squad remain alive.

Boring draw. RM and Bayern are getting through easily, Atletico might beat Barca but I doubt it and PSG-Chelsea is the only really tight tie, hoping for PSG to go through.

Re: Football zone vol 6

^ Draw pretty balanced: I think we are getting the best SFs possible with no doormat-have-no-right-being-there team in last 4..

Bayern - Real - Barca- Chelsea/PSG is the logical quartet..

Bayern and Real ease through..Barcelona will just edge past Atletico (probably away goals) .. Chelsea/PSG a toss up really..

But is much better than having United or Dortmund in the Semis where they would be trounced by whoever they draw..I mean a Bayern - Real in QF is like Djokovic-Nadal Roland Garros quarter..

Re: Football zone vol 6

Dortmund beat Real last season, though they're not as good now and Real are better so I expect Real to go through.

Barca will most likely go through versus Atletico, but it's not going to be easy. Experience might be the difference here.

I think Chelsea will go through over PSG, though it's a tossup.

Bayern vs. ManU . That isn't going to be hard for Bayern.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Hoping for Borussia, Bayern and Barca to go through. And Chelsea, just so they can't focus on the PL.

Re: Football zone vol 6

I agree with the consensus that Bayern and Real Madrid will ease into the SFs. I think PSG will just edge Chelsea and same for Barca over Atletico.

Europa League will be Benfica, Juve, Sevilla and Valencia.

Re: Football zone vol 6

Bayern, Real, Barca and Chelsea for me.

Europa League will be Juve, Porto, Benfica and Basel - though I'd prefer Valencia to go through.

Real to win the Champions League and Juventus the Europa.

I agree with acacacacademy.

United have a chance, everyone with Rooney and RVP always a chance.

Juventus should win the Europa League pretty easily, if they want to win it, clearly..
