I have Hybrid Theory and still listen to it from time to time.

Hummm yeah, I thought it might be common knowledge over there too. I mean, even in Argentina I sometimes hear them mentioning it.

True, although sometimes I get the feeling that people will never learn here. One experience I had last weekend really proved me right in thinking this.

Even with a degree, it is relatively hard to find work in this field especially when you are not willing to open your own practice. I never wanted to be a "normal" psychologist anyway, rather wanted to try my luck as criminal psychologist (which is also why I studied law as well). Still, life never turns out the way as planned and I found work as marketing assistant who also does occasional translations of manuals and data sheets.

Everyone excited for the final? I have not been this excited for tennis in a few years

The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.

That would have been fascinating. Maybe you'll get your chance one day?

That would be awesome although in a few years from now I'm seeing myself selling gas and cookies at the gas station of my sister-in-law.

I would agree. Statistics isn't easy, and I really do like it as a branch of mathematics in general. However, mechanics (which is basically engineering) is much harder.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. Unless you do something like medicine, I think the chances of ending up in the profession that your degree matches up with aren't as high as everyone thinks. I don't think every law student goes into the legal industry, for instance.

Yeah, I absolutely plan to go. I'm undecided as to exactly what course I will do, but it will be something like maths, actuarial science, physics, engineering, statistics, economics, PPE or even law. Ideally, I'd like to go to Oxbridge as well.

Yes I am!!!

Btw Sue, need some advise, and seeing as you're the Doctor here, you're the peson to ask. Yesterday I notice a little infection type thing on one of my fingers, right next to the fingernail. It's green looking and today I noticed it's spread a little along the area where it is, and almost is the same length as one of my fingernails. Should I put a needle to it and try and get it out, or just leave it and get some anti biotics? Quite painful to write.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Yeah, that's what I think economics is primarily about. Finance especially. It's actually very conceptual, compared to what many people who never bothered to study it think.

And you can call me George, Betty.
