Okay, here is what happened last night. If you don't say that this was the craziest night ever after the porno cinema visit with my French friend, then I don't know what's up.
So, we are going out with Argie Javi every weekend but this weekend he had friends from work staying over. Instead, we went out with an Italian guy, Davide, who was staying over for some days on his way to Russia. At first we went to the latin dance place. They had a dance lesson and he was a die-hard electronic music fan. Through the lesson he slowly got the feeling for the latin music, unfortunately not enough. I taught him a bit more of salsa but he was too scared to dance on the floor, just on the back as him moving sent me laughing my ass off.
After a while, many vodka lemon shots and Caipirinhas later, he was drunk enough to dare to go on the dancefloor with me and my friend. Salsa, Merengue and Bachata, you name it, just his Italian way... stepping on our feet and so on. Then the nut-job actually went on stage, all alone and danced like a weirdo. I almost fainted from laughing, everyone was staring and probably chuckling as much as I did. I was too embarrassed for him to look into their faces.
Either way, a short while later we decided to go to the karaoke spot. Went there in the pouring rain. Once we got there, we were drunk enough to actually agree on singing a song. The place has 2 floors and on the upper floor you just see the action on stage on the screens. Either way, Davide and I opted for an Italian song. My Italian is shit when I'm sober, when I'm as drunk as I was, I'm actually fluent. So we went up on stage, singing our hearts out. No one wanted to sue me for blasted ear drums nor bleeding ears. I think they were drunk enough to appreciate my efforts.
When I came back to my bag, I saw I had received a message. It was from Javi who was apparently at the same place with his work mates. The poor thing had to listen to us singing, he was just upstairs, heard the "noise" and found out on the screen that it was actually me showing off my "amazing" Italian skills.
Oh my goodness. The world is so small and I always have to come across people I know in the most embarrassing situations.
