Re: Figure Skating

*sniff* brian! omg he just.....he just flopped. omg he kept falling, and he just looked soooo gutted when he was getting his marks. awh and then the commentators were saying 'if ever brian was the win this, now was his time with plushenko out...'

wtf is up with the marking system though i dunno how that candian guy got a medal cos IMO his 2nd mark was far too high.

but LAMBIEL!!! ok so it wasnt his best performance, he missed a few jumps but his 2 quads were fantastic!! he looked awfully cute as well!!

Re: Figure Skating

GUTTED for Brian.

THRILLED for Buttle. But really, it says a lot for the final flight performances that he was the silver medalist with so many mistakes.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

By Buttle's second marks do you mean his program components? Because that is the meat of his overall performance. His second mark is almost always better than this technical mark. I will reserve my judgement on he technical mark until I see it again tonight and can compare it to the others. I saw Buttle live on Canadian TV but nobody else.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

yeah the program components. i mean, it was a great performance but i didnt think it deserved that high a mark. but fair play to him all the same. and the wee american chap! i like him, he looks like a younger greame souness!

Re: Figure Skating

Buttle will always get some of the highest PC marks. I don't really see what the problem with that is. His coreography is just fantastic, he really sells his program, blah. If you want to argue his technical mark I might understand it, but his PC mark?

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Figure Skating

Félicitation Stephane!!!
Although it was not a flawless performance at least he didnt buckle under the pressure and still got a sound technical and PC mark!! he truly deserves it!

but for Joubert commisération! I was gutted and I just wanted to give him a big fat hug I cud see in his eyes he was welling up and i actually cried for him

For the others, I didnt quite get buttles PC but wot do i know!!! and Lysachek well big claps to him he did really well i mean its his first worlds and he gets a bronze (i see a bright future ahead) and also Wier with an injury he still gets 4th (although i think he should of at elast get a medal)
