Re: In loving memory of Henry - the Attention Seekers

Henry Chinaski, we will miss you as the good poster you were.
And may you rest in peace.

Today I will rise my cup for you.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

Re: In loving memory of Henry - the Attention Seekers

at night i was thinking of all memories with henry... well many of them were recent and revolved around tennis journalism, but some old ones gave me a chuckle though tears too... he always voted for me in popcon, for all the editions in all these rounds, and i am pretty sure i did the same that's the definition of internet friendship i guess

funeral is on monday and there are ryanair flights from wroclaw but i won't be able to attend because i have economy exam at that time

BUT my page is now dedicated to Henry check right bottom http://www.tenislove.pl/

I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear these news. He will be sorely missed.

Somebody should open a condolence thread.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

I see it now, sorry. For some reason I expected to see it on non-tennis.

Re: In loving memory of Henry - the Attention Seekers

I've written my feelings about this elsewhere and the guy was a deadset champion and the fact long term posters who don't post anymore came out to pay their respects.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Dini was pretty upset when she found it. One of my original mates on MTF. How old was he?

I will try to learn something about this.
Great post, I totally agree.

henry understood volumes... he wrote for us, gave us his time... and sharing our time is the greatest gift a human being can give to another... in fact, it is all we have...
