Sigh.... so near yet so far.
I'm so disappointed for Kim but mostly I'm just SICK of Henin beating her in grand slam finals. Someone needs to go break her legs or something.

He is adorable I felt so sorry for him at the end. He looked more upset than Kim.

I volunteer for that!

I got a Louisville Slugger here that's aching to crush a femur or two...but on the other hand, Ol' Betsy really wants to shatter a kneecap...what do y'all think?

It is very dissappointing - but in a way I think that it's best to lose to the best player in the world. If she won her first slam against a lesser player people would always remember that.
Today *dodgy line calls aside* Ezel was probably the better player. When Kim wins I want her to beat the best players not just get lucky with a draw. I want her to come out and beat a fully fit Ezel and my goodness I will take great pleasure in watching that happen. It will happen one day.

Yeah. It's got to be hard for him to see. He more than anyone else knows how she feels inside because he's been there. He's probably do anything he could to make her not have to go through it.

And it was so sweet when you could see he was so nervous he was jumping out of his skin that he turned to Connor and patiently talked to him.

Marly, we've already assigned you to take out Pat Cash.

I mean at this rate, we're gonna need an Al Qaeda branch.

I don't think Justine was the better player. She was in the first set for sure.

But she wasn't playing well the last two sets, and that is why even though Kim was still a break down in the third, I believed that Kim had a chance to win it. It was very very even in the last two sets.

Anyway, I am so glad you all were here to cheer with and to commiserate with. It would have all been soooooooo much worse without all of you.

Well, probably but I'm feeling childish and violent at the moment...
I sure won't shed any tears if Henin is taken out...

That man really needs shooting For an Australian he's very behind the French-non-Australian-connected Belgian. Started on a huge rant at the end about how Kim's confidence is going to be shattered now etc etc.
The man is an idiot.

true
it was very even in the third at the moment of that lousy scandalous umpire interfering

both could have taken the title at that point, Kim sure played so much better than at the other GS against ezel

Very well said I completely agree! But in a way I'm kind of happy that so many people think what they do of Lleyton. It makes for us to be a really small and close knit group of fans and we really are supporting a wonderful, amazing person. It's almost like our little secret I'm feeling all gooberish now... big group hug, I love you guys
