Re: 2012 MTF Popularity Contest News Thread

The delay in rounds is a clear Machiavellian opposition attempt to halt my campaign's momentum at the expense of this forum's democracy. The voters will not be so easily fooled!

Take your time Johnny. You're doing a great job and there's no hurry, might as well take a bit more time but do things well than needlessly hurrying them up

Yes, I agree, especially considering it was originally supposed to be a two-man show with a 128 draw which turned into a one-man show with a 256 draw, I say we shouldn't demand too much. Surely there's no rush. If anyone feel really impatient to find out how things went/get the next round started, they're welcome to do the necessary summation themselves.

Looks like I made the third round, but it also looks like I'm on a hiding to nothing.

RIP Henry Chinaski. A true MTF legend

It's called being nice. And supporting Johnny, fully understanding that this is not an easy contest to organize alone and he's doing a good job.

Not that I'd expect you to ever understand that or, God forbid, let that get in the of your agenda of finding flaw with everything I post.

Exactly, couldn't agree more. Of course according to a certain someone you'd be just 'kissing even more ass than usual'

Johnny is doing a great job and there's no need to rush things, the off season is long. If some people are really that impatient, they should stop whining and give Johnny a hand with the count.

I don't read everything you post thank god. And trying to make me the bad guy again As Johnny well knows I have nothing against him or his work, I was merely noticing your sweet choice of words.

Groove, if you need help running the contest, just ask someone I understand the draw was huge and it was a lot of work.

...

I think I am going to go compose a poem to Sonja begging for mercy.

I'm afraid you did that all by yourself. I just showed Johnny some support since some people were complaining about the delay, you somehow managed to spin that into something negative

And what exactly is wrong with my choice of words? Of course it's a 'sweet' choice of words since I'm trying to be nice and supportive. In other words, you're clutching at straws in order to find a way to diss me; it's not the first time you do it and probably won't be the last, and it's only becoming more transparent.

No need for all the drama mate, besides I don't care about you nearly as much as you think. Relax a little wouldya, it's the popcon after all.

So let me get this straight: you bait me (albeit in quite transparent fashion), I take the bait and then you complain about 'drama'? Ok

And I am very relaxed; I have no problem with you, unlike you who have made a habit of bumping threads to diss me/my posts and have made no secret of your dislike towards me on plenty of occasions. If someone here needs to relax, it's you.

Holy cow old sport... for someone who intentionally trolled GM for weeks in order to get in the MTF spotlight, just to then suddenly turn into the "nice and sensible" poster you are now, you sure are on a high horse here.

But whatever, this is the wrong thread for this - and so, I take back my words. I apologize because, even though I found your words cheezy and commented on that, I actually agree with what you said about Johnny.
