During the summer, at its absolute peak it only starts getting dark at 9:30 pm.

So yeah very long days.
Omg, can't wait for summer.

When is you course starting and how long is it from your accomodation to LSE?
Registration is on 1 October, so it starts after that. I don't know what's happening to be frank; haven't even planned my courses. I'll do that on Sunday when my folks go back to Singapore.

I'm at iQ shoreditch which is at Old Street. It's like 20 minutes by bus to LSE, but I took the bus on a Sunday, so on a weekday it's probably an hour. Have you started the new term already?

Tripwires, you going to LSE?

If you see a tall big bloke called Sam avoid eye contact and leave the City

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

December is already better as there's snow, and short day almost belongs to Finnish X-mas. And you don't care about darkness in january because of AO. And in February you already see the day is longer. And already now the night is longer than day, well that's the case in whole Northern hemisphere. But it's so cold, I'd rather be e.g. at Mediterranean now.

But Finnish summer is so great, in late June it's quite bright all night long, even if sun actually setted. And in late July it's dark only about 2 or 3 hours.

Exact same situation here in regards to the winter hours like in November in Finland.

So depressing FML.

I love Finland. Helsinki was so cool when I went.

It's a matter of give-and-take, though. Do you want the best summer ever for a miserable and dark winter? Or a decent summer for a fairly tolerable winter, like in the UK?
