Re: o* Ye Olde Castle Volume 59 - All welcome at the Castle that never sleeps

Went through some scenarios, assuming everybody beats Tipsy 2:0. As I'd love both Ferru and DelPo to advance, I hope DelPo beats Fed, but not 2:1. 2:1 would mean Ferrer has to take a set from Fed, and then all three would have same set winning percentage, when game winning ratio would decide. On the other hand, DelPo 2:0 over Fed would require David still to take a set from Roger, but in that case it'd surely be enough if only he'd beat Tipsy 2:0, and then DelPo and Ferru would be the group's #1 and #2.

Luckily Ferrer-Fed is on Thursday, I'll know on Saturday whether to hope for a win for DelPo.

Re: o* Ye Olde Castle Volume 59 - All welcome at the Castle that never sleeps

it would hilarious if murray won his group and berdych finished second

then berdych would suddenly remember his reason for living, and beat federer in the semi final

tennis would be saved with this scenario, no doubt

fortunately, djokovic will take care of business in the worst case scenario

Sorry Castle I think I'm falling into the pattern of other TT players only coming in if you have picks to make or a TT to enter! I can't believe TT is just about over

I have a, shall we say, morbid personality.
