So Europe won and Finland is part of Europe. May I speak a bit Finnish:

Still it's a country! Might as well put Europe against the U.S. at Tennis

Your country that has larger population than whole Europe.

And USA usually win Presidents Cup where you play against a non-Europe team. So there you beat a larger amount of people.

But technically it's still U.S. vs Europe. Doesn't sound impressive if you ask me, considering Europe is more than double our population

Re: •°o* Ye Olde Castle Volume 59 - All welcome at the Castle that never sleeps

And USA vs. Europe is a fair competition, just look at how well Yankees have done in majors compared to Euros.

I've understood Europe has usually better team spirit than USA, despite that Team USA's players are from the same country. US players are more of individualists, that's why Euros have a better team spirit, and that's important in Ryder Cup.

I had no clue tbh, I've never watched golf in my life. But why'd you say that the U.S. has a larger population than Europe?

I've always had that impression, I was very sure that USA has at least larger population than European Union. But I cheked it, and you really don't have. (that's for me)

But I'm sure USA is quite equal to Europe in golf, USA v. Europe is fairer situation than e.g. the original Ryder Cup situation USA v. Great Britain & Ireland.
