I don't know, maybe they don't want to reveal some parts of their equipment.

Just finding out that there ever was life on Mars would be a huge discovery.

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - The beginning of the end.

Oh right. Yeah, that makes sense.

I read in Time magazine, which did a cover on this event, that there's some evidence of dried up lakes or some sort of body of water, which might suggest that there was life form on Mars. That is, if I remember correctly what I read.

All this space thing is so intriguing and scary and humbling at the same time. It really puts into focus how insignificant (in a factual manner) human beings are in the larger picture. It makes the perennial fighting over religion/race/money/whatever pretty pointless.

Speaking of 'Life on Mars', has anyone ever seen the TV show. It's really great.

This forum has enough characters from outer space.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

A big broken statue and Rafa's stone butt visible in the sand dunes.

That would confirm some suspicions raised on MTF.

What are those black patches on the photo? I'm guessing the picture didn't download properly on my office computer...

The black patches are portions that are missing from the panorama. All that is made of many pieces that are being put together, post processed from the raw data that came from Curiosity by the Nasa crew. Those that are missing are either not able to be properly processed or just didn't get through.

Mars is lifeless atm. At some point there was water on the planet, so naturally life as well but that's million of years in the past.

The panorama mosaic takes a whole lot to load. First impression is that the surroundings are very similar to some of the arid places in the United States.
Because they were taken in the arid places in the United States.

I would have lent them my phone if they had asked

Definitely one of the best shows coming from UK in the last decade that isn't a sketch show/sitcom.

I could have lent them my phone in 2004. I know that, I'm an information addict.

I see. Those parts probably look the same as the other parts that have got through.

You guys are such HATERS. Wait till I leave my job and am busy living my life with no time for MTF. By the time you start missing my presence, it'd be too late.
