I went to McDonalds and Chela was sitting in the table next to mine.

Not at all Romanian, it's to be expected.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Indeed.

I don't know the first two bands; are they British? I will check them out when I'm not falling asleep. Yeah the MUSE gig. Such a bummer, really. I'm sure you can catch their next one, whenever it is!
The Temper Trap are Aussies. British Sea Power are indeed British. It's a nightmare to get tickets for MUSE.

Where's south of Thames, exactly? Ealing Broadway? Where's Arsenal? Do you wander around central London much? I don't believe I've gone past Zone 2 yet. Furthest out I've been so far is to the O2.
You'be been here long enough to know your way around, right? Ealing Broadway, where I go quite a lot is more out to the west, but still north of the Thames. Arsenal is in Islington which is north-central. I have my moments of just wandering round, yes. Sometimes it's shopping, sometimes it's just to have a bit of an exploration day.

Have you not been to Waterloo, yet? That's always a favourite for newcomers. Anyway, the 02 is south of the river.

Point is, most of the good things in London are in the northern part. However, there's a gem in the south-west. If you ever get the chance next spring/summer. Make sure you go to Kew Gardens. It's my favourite place in the whole city, by far. Beautiful.

How are you grumpy and mean? The only person who can be called grumpy in this thread is Action Jackson, who can be mean sometimes. Did you just imply that the posters in Nole chat are elitist?
I am awfully grumpy and mean. Ask anyone who knows me well. AJ, I can't compete with, though.

No, no, dear. The implication was that they are tolerable.

Chela the guy can eat as much crap as he wants, yet he won't put on weight.

I remember when Flavio Saretta said to him in Brazil. Hey Chela, did you leave your arse at home.

Hahahaha, as for grumpy well perhaps more just can't be bothered with people at times. Best to be on autopilot on MTF and get surprised from the odd good post.

Just watching Urtijëi with Becker and Seppi this is a challenger on carpet at proper altitude not of this Madrid altitude shit.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Very true. Why bother, though?

It isn't going very well for Seppi right now, looks like he will go down, unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

On the subject of Chela, had he given up the ghost yet. His latest injury problems seem bad.

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - ( Y )

Seppi was impressive had 0-40 on Becker's final service game and made 4 forehand errors in a row.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - ( Y )

Shame, but at least he made it all the way to the final of his home event. Would have been a nice finish to the year.

I am hoping that he has an equally good year, next year, and then I don't really mind what happens in his career.

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - ( Y )

There was a good crowd for the final, therefore the wildcard was justified.

As for why do I bother sad thing is I have to read the drivel in GM, especially when it comes to deleting posts.

Yeah. It really annoys me when people complain about top 50 players being given wild cards into challengers. How else are the tournaments meant to generate interest? And it's more justified when it's a home player like Seppi this week, or Nieminen in Helsinki next week. And even better still when they don't dominate the event, and competitive tennis is still on show, which I think was in Ortisei this week.

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - ( Y )

MTF isn't known as Meet The Fanboys/Fangirls for nothing. Then you have people who think the ATP do a good job with tennis, that is just nonsense.

Bratislava is on now then hopefully Rosol wins, it's an early night. People that run La Liga and the ATP might be the same ones.

There are some weird people on here, some annoying people, indeed, I'm not excluding myself from that.

Phau knows exactly how to beat Rosol. I like both, so I don't mind who wins. I have to feel sorry for Lukas that he hasn't kicked on, though.

I hate La Liga nearly as much as the ATP, but I find myself watching both. Call me a hypocrite, please.

Re: Attention Seekers Vol. 2012 - ( Y )

Rosol has done alright, he has established himself in the top 100. Next season he will need to improve, actually better he wins as flyboy will have the shits which is always good.

Well both LFP who run football in Spain and the ATP are grossly incompetent but in different ways. I watch more 2nd division matches in Spain now, because the team I support are there and it's fun finding livestreams.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
