Yeah I've been told that the amount of work that goes into the essay and dissertation is about the same. It's just that the dissertation is longer (15000 versus 8000 for the essay) and it sounds more serious than an 'extended essay'. Okay maybe that's just the distinction in my head and I'm just being inflexible but I hate changing my plans.
But thanks for the advice though - it makes perfect sense and, as always, you have a good point.
I'll try to talk to him soon.
I understand what your're saying. There'll always be this differentiation between the two regardless of the fact that more or less the same amount of work is going into producing the end product. My pleasure trip, and I hope you're able to find a resolution.
Why did your brother want to pay for your haircut?
Your hair probably needs a couple of weeks to settle and look its best. That's usually the case for me - first two weeks of a haircut are disastrous, then it gets better...or maybe I get used to the disaster.
I'm still curious to see pics though.
Because he loves his 'lil sis. Or maybe he thought I'd stop doing my impression of the Dulux dog if he did.
Nah. He asked me if I'd like to get it done and then offered to pay for it. Which was very good of him.
Tell you what trip, the longer the week's gone on, the less it looks like I've just had it done. Perhaps it'll look better again when I've washed it. It's in the lap of the Gods.
I feel like I should know this, but...what are you doing now? I don't know why I had the impression that you're still studying.
Don't worry about it. It was probably a good while back since it was mentioned. Used to be a teaching assistant but I'm not working at the moment.
Sorry for the late reply!
