Re: The Lurkers Melting Pot Chapter 2 - Sponsored by Scones and Stereotypes

I have a weird form of eczema on my hands that only flares up in the heat. Made living in Los Angeles a trying experience.

So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins...

Manchester would probably suit you pretty well then too as we get our fair share of rain. Perhaps the cities are secretly twinned and we've never known about it...

Nah. I'll tell them any old malarkey about how I said it whilst affected by the heatwave and that'll keep them away. My cunning plan...

Odd. Must've been annoying and made going about your daily life a little difficult to say the least.

Well I had to spend a lot of money on a steroid cream that made the skin on my hands very thin and sensitive but it at least kept it in check.

So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins...

So at least that made it more bearable for you.

No fightin' the sun in the great North West Amber.

Think this is one for Amber as our heatwave is just a temporary aberration and normal 'no summer' service will soon resume.

Aye I know your pain. Not sure it's eczema, but a half hour of playing tennis or any physical activity in weather of over 25C gets my face and back flaring up like I'm lying on a cactus. Cactuses. Cacti?

15C is perfect. Anything higher and I consider it hot. Can't complain about the sudden Verdasco tan though..

Right now venturing outside during the daytime requires motivational background music and some tight clenching

Sham.

About 20C is plenty hot enough for me. These temperatures are just toooo much for this pale Englishwoman. A
Verdasco tan eh? Long as you don't go the whole hog and show up with his dodgy barnet and hairgel combo...

Omg, that was like our week here last week. The high temperatures (32-36 deg C) here aggravated by high humidity levels clocked in as 42-44C and higher in experienced temps. And it only got more humid overnight. I didn't have more than 8 hours of sleep those whole five days, the stagnant air kept causing an apnea that had me constantly waking up in panics. Saturday, the temp dropped significantly, allowing me my first full night's rest all week. It's been nice and comfortable since then.

What's the speculation going to be about now? Breast or bottle feeding? Milk or formula?

So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins...
