I don't feel good at all about this week.

Now have Gasquet/Benneteau/Gulbis/Robredo in my team instead of Delpo/Alund/Bellucci
Mine's a mix of 4 or 5 who should be there or thereabouts, and some who can garner useful points along the way. Plus a couple where I'm just hoping really.

Re: The Lurkers Melting Pot - Sponsored by all our "rocking" Lurkers !

yeah Ann, I gotta say, picking only 3 Memphis players may have been a mistake, even garbage players will score big there as it's a 500. Too much value to only pick 3 players.

But I guess when you're picking a lot of top players you can't pick 10 players from each tournament like I tend to do

Good luck, maybe it'll work out for you

Re: The Lurkers Melting Pot - Sponsored by all our "rocking" Lurkers !

just fyi Ann.

If you picked Bogomolov, Russell, Harrison, Kubot, and Haas, Donskoy, Becker, Lopez from the Memphis draw. You would have guarenteed yourself at least 290 points and spent 6482.

You spend 6865 on Ferrer hoping for 250 points, could have 40 more points guarenteed for almost 400 less budget

not a whole lot of value in Ferrer this week

Re: The Lurkers Melting Pot - Sponsored by all our "rocking" Lurkers !

It was more like "Not gonna pick that mug Robredo no matter what, he's just terrible, loses to anyone and everyone"

"Oh look, Bellucci's draw is easy, starts with a nobody, then Robredo but Robredo will probably lose to that Q anyway, Bellucci was only bad last week because he was in Brazil and couldn't handle the hometown pressure"

"Ok gonna pick Bellucci, he'll do well"

"What Bellucci lost? Give me that mug Robredo then"

I'll never learn

Not much going on for my team the rest of the day. Zeballos only.

Could go with Almagro and Cilic losing to open up my players draws though

Nothing wrong with Memphis aside from I couldn't really think of who to select outside the obvious.

Like I said J, when looking at the draw, inspiration really didn't strike so...

I don't always go that route, but thanks for the good wishes.
