Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)

John Terry he is such an oxygen thief.

Scholes summed it up perfectly "Me and Roy got medals but they didn’t mean anything to either of us. You have to play in the final to warrant a medal."

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)

Spurs only have themselves to blame. They should have cruised to a 3rd place finish, but despite all of Arsenal's problems this season they still couldn't finish above them in the league.

Chelsea have won 10 major trophies in the last 8 years. Not bad going at all. Despite all of their problems and instability over the years they have still been able to deliver the goods and regularly bring home the silverware.

Funny when Greece played like this they were cowards, when Chelsea does it with 250mil pounds of talent they are brave. Well organised, took their chances that's it. Teams aren't there to win in style.
you can sukit as well

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)

was written in the stars for Chelsea this year since that Napoli game at Stamford when they won from 1-3 down, never played great but will to win was unmatched and this big legend was the leader of it

Good thing Chelsea don't still have Ballack considering his record in major finals for club and country .

It's very impressive that 5 different English teams have now won the European Cup/Champions League, compared to 3 different teams from Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, and just RM and Barça from Spain. Excellent diversity there.

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)

Awesome that Greece have added Champions League title to their Euro title.

Joke result for football today. Chelsea are a perfectly average team, they have no business winning Champions League with this shit squad and their clear desire to play for 0-0 and penalties from opening whistle.

It will be an even bigger joke when Abramovich sends Di Matteo packing.

Robben confirms his status as finals choker. Choked in the World Cup final and choked on every attempt on goal today. His penalty miss today was laughably predictable. Gomez should've taken that penalty and Bayern would've won it.

At least Essien got a winners medal even though he didn't play.

Truly an amazing achievement having spent a mere 900 trillion hard earned £ on transfers and wages in those 8 years. Such a well-run club. One has to at their success. How do they do it?

It is funny that one of them is Nottingham Forest who haven't been in the top flight in well over a decade.

Greece were a lot more offensive this lost and they both in play in blue. Di Matteo is going the Heynckes route win the Champs League and get sacked.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
