Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

Last year SuperDepor and this year El Submarillo Amarillo. Very sad that these two clubs declined so quickly from finishing near the top of La Liga and reaching European semi-finals to relegation. At least Depor look good to make an instance return to La Liga this year, and hopefully Villarreal can do so too next year.

I have a soft spot for Madrid's finest Vallecano so happy they survived, though wish Zaragoza would have been relegated for their series of rule breaches. I only really liked them when Aimar played for them for those 2 years.

Brilliant, brilliant Udinese take 3rd. They lose Sanchez and hardly miss a beat. Magnificent club.

Lazio take 4th with Napoli in 5th. Lecce go down and Genoa survive.

Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

Depor will be back and Celta Vigo have a chance as well of returning. Villarreal B got relegated to the C division, even though they were mid table.

UEFA banned Mallorca for 2 season because of financial issues, yet Zaragoza are allowed to survive. Some new rule is allegedly coming in next season in La Liga for this sort of stuff.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

think someone got in there for Rangers today, some Englishman/consortium

need to overturn that stupid transfer embargo and hope they start throwing the cash around and we can get some star signings like Goodwillie, Sandaza and Makail-Smith... maybe a few of those Kilmarnock players as well

and Billy Davies as manager, sorry Ally, but you're hopeless

Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

In a perfect world La Liga would be run like the Bundesliga.

Obviously La Viola's season has been completely marred by the Delio Rossi incident, but it a shame that they were so bad in Serie A this year.

Brilliant Montpellier again with late drama.

Need just a point now next week against bottom and already relegated Auxerre.

Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

Udinese one of the lowest wage bills in the Serie A and they finish 3rd brilliant effort. They play football the right way. Hope di Natale can play another season.

Spain, the country where cheating in football is rewarded unlike other places there is no 10 point penalty for going in administration.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Didn't they win the title with this win?
