Re: Football Zone (Muamba out of hospital & di Natale showing his class)

No manager has done a better job in English football over the last 3 years than Paul Lambert. When he took over at Norwich, they were in the 3rd tier and had just lost 7-1 at home to Lambert's Colchester team.

Norwich are easily one of the best supported clubs in English football. They sell out Carrow Road every week and even when they were struggling in the Championship under the likes of Roeder and were playing in League One, they were getting fantastic attendances.

I hate Barcelona but really respect Messi. 50 La Liga goals and 72 goals in all competitions, with one more La Liga game and the Copa Del Rey final still to come, is superhuman. Better he wins the Pinichi than Ronaldo.

ever since he's left us he's been a big failure, and no, a few goals he scored recently didn't change that. He wouldn't have much to rub in is what I'm saying.

Norwich always play good football as well not that abortion stuff like Stoke.

La Liga relegation battle down to Sporting, Cheats, Villarreal, Rayo and Granada on the last day.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Football Zone (Muamba out of hospital & di Natale showing his class)

Good on Los Che for finishing as the 'best of the rest' in Spain and winning the real La Liga to secure automatic Champions League qualification once again. They beat Villarreal 1-0 at the Mestalla, with Jonas scoring a well taken winner in the 91st minute. It was a deserved victory after dominating the game and missing a host of earlier chances.

It will interesting to see who goes in and out of Valencia's revolving transfer door this summer. Jordi Alba looks set to return back home to Barcelona. Hopefully they retain the likes of Soldado, Banega and Piatti who was an excellent signing from Almería. I would be very happy if they could complete the signings of Van Der Wiel from Ajax and Guardado from Depor.

Emery told the players that he won't be there next season so I wonder who they will appoint as his successor. He has done an excellent job there over the last 4 years as far as concerned given everything that he has had to deal with.

Re: Football Zone (Muamba out of hospital & di Natale showing his class)

It will be horrible if Villarreal go down. They are an honestly run club that goes about business the right way. I also want Granada to stay up due to their Udinese link. Rayo and Granada play each other. Sporting are away to Malaga who need a win to secure Champions League. Villarreal are home against Atletico who still have a chance for Champions League depending on Malaga's result. Zaragoza at Getafe who are playing for nothing.

Siqueira got the original red and then Moises got a second yellow (first was for that body slam on Ronaldo that led to the penalty )

Drogba's record at the new Wembley is amazing as well. Not counting the meaningless Community Shield matches, Chelsea have played 8 important games there (4 FA Cup finals, 1 Carling Cup final and 3 FA Cup semi-finals) and he has scored in each and every one of them.

He is definately a big game player.
Drogs is a legend. Will be sad to see him go but the FA Cup will be the perfect retirement gift.

You can keep saying AVB was shit all you want but should the players only try for someone they like? They did the same with Scolari.

Anyway it's all forgotten about now. Be funny if Torres scores on Tuesday.

I don't care about who the fuck is the champion, but would be so unfair if this Newcastle team won't go to CL next year. I will sleep thinking of tomorrow match. But the worst is that EVEN if we do beat City, we have a away game against a very good Everton. So things are very hard for us. But can't deny that Arsenal draw helped us a bit.
