Re: Football Zone

I don't like Bayern, but they completely dominated the whole match and were unlucky not to score more goals. Not counting the DFL-Supercup last August, that was their first significant victory over Dortmund since February 2010 I think.

They have been ridiculously good this season, banging in the goals and barely conceding any, and playing some stylish football. They have an excellent chance of winning the treble this year.

They also need one or two good central defenders. The midfield is fine. Iniesta and Busquets always play great.
Yes Aguero would have been great signing for Barça and fit in well there. Messi is a monster but Guardiola's decision to revolve the team's attack completely around him has hurt the team and made them more predictable to defend against.

In 2008/2009 when they won the treble, Messi scored 38 goals mostly playing as a winger, Eto'o scored 36 and Henry 26. In 2010/2011 when they won the La Liga-Champions League double, Messi scored 53 goals, Villa 23 and Pedro 22.

Last year no other Barcelona player reached 20 goals, while RM had 32 goals from Benzema and 26 from Higuain, alongside Ronaldo's amazing 60 goals. This year I'm not sure if anyone else has even reached double figures yet. That is a worrying trend for them.

They still have to beat Atletico in the final . Anyways, it always goes like this, some of my friends who are RM fans are similar: whichever Real wins, is the more important trophy. Last year Copa didn't mean anything, this year it's especially important .

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that most people will agree when I say that La Liga is always more prestigious than Copa del Rey .

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Anyone who doesn't agree is insane. The Copa may be more important for the clubs with no chance of ever winning La Liga (which at this moment in time is the other 18 clubs every season) as it represents their chance at silverware.

I thought that Dortmund did fairly well in the second half, making the match more balanced, although Bayern still had more good chances to score

Napoli completely dominated second half against Juventus, who seemed glad to hold the tie

Re: Football Zone

farca truly pathetic

Real Madrid B - Barcelona A = 1 - 1
Real Madrid A/B - B r e o a = 1 - 0

at the last minute Adriano had arguments for penalty but fair decision not giving it. Again he started to dive before the contact was made

Re: Football Zone

Barca should just sack Roura and make one of the players or even a physio manage the team. I'm positive just about anyone would do better than Roura.

Re: Football Zone

Barça goes down without even trying. They're lucky that they still have 13 points of advantage, With something like 6 Roura would be able to loose it too.

Casillas is so missed . Diego Lopez is pathetic, that reaction at the goal was some provincial league goalie reaction
