The best player in the world in the last 3 hours. AVB proving Chelski sky high egos wrong.

My question for you. Which goal was better? Stefan's or Senad's?

(They are both better than Bale's goal, before you ignore this post!)
I prefer the goal Lulic scored.

For the 145th time. I am NOT a avb fan! I couldn't care less if he wins or lose.

Yes, we all know it was a English player who made earned 96M euros to a portuguese club and gave that team the CL trophy. Oh wait!!! It was the opposite and that club is YOUR team...

But I understand your bitterness, Failman. Being from the country where football was invented and still being owned left and right, both in clubs and national teams, everytime you face a certain southwest Europe country with just 10 million of people, must be very butt hurting.

I really don't know, and I don't want to separate them. Radu's was impressive because he took it first time, and controlled the flight very well. How many times do you see a player muck up a first time shot from that far out? Most of the time, so that makes his goal very impressive. The Lulic goal is slightly more emphatic, but from closer in and more central.

Nevertheless, back up to third for Lazio, and with Klose not too far away, and a cup final to come, there is so much still to play for this season.

Re: Football Zone

Feel sorry for my countryman Jussi Jääskeläinen who played a brilliant game against Tottenham but has nothing to show for it now

Though I hated how AVB was treated by Chelsea and enjoy his success right now

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Of course, every player that plays in the EPL some years is as talented as Cristiano.

Re: Football Zone

Bale is an incredible player. As far as wingers with an amazing left foot go, I think he is playing better now than Robben was in his first season in the EPL in 2004/2005 when he tore defences to shreds.

Also what does this say about Southampton's youth academy, which over the years has produced players like Le Tissier, Shearer, Bridge, Walcott, Bale and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

imo Robben is an average player with one extraordinary move (this run on the right side then go in and shoot with the left foot). In the moment the defensive lines learned he mostly does this, they know how to defend him. In the meanwhile he also lost a bit of speed, so he can't overrun the defenders anymore that easy.
