Re: Football Zone

Real really deserved much more than a draw, but the defense was bad, can't concede like that after a corner and those 2 RVP chances in the same attack could've done it for United late on.It's still open but United is the favorite now.

Re: Football Zone

RM was better overall, but United had more clear chances, incredible how van Persie didn't score that time when he was left alone in front of Lopez. Also, that chance Giggs had when he didn't shoot immediately which he had to do. Should be a fun match in Manchester for sure.

Shakhtar-Dortmund was really exciting from what I saw. Dortmund did very well to fight back two times and now they're in a great position before the home game, although it's far from over of course.

Re: Football Zone

RVP was unlucky not to score twice, that said Real could've been out of sight, if it wasn't for united parking the bus.

Best players for Real tonight: Ronaldo, Ozil, Khedira

Best players for Man U: Welbeck, De Gea, Jones

special mention to Rooney putting in a frustrating shift covering that left side, hopefully he gets to lead the line with RVP in 3 weeks time

Re: Football Zone

I've just seen Lewandowski's equaliser for Dortmund. Pure hilarity. He whiffs on a shot in the box, two Shakhtar defenders collide into each other trying to block the whiffed shot and Lewandowski gets easy finish in the end.

I know right . I was watching the RM-ManU game with a couple of friends, one of whom is half Polish, and he said that "I want to see the Lewandowski goal, I bet it's ugly as hell" and right he was.

Re: Football Zone

What an epic clown this Mazzarri

playing with 4-5 starters against Plzen, truly thinking their shot at winning the Scudetto is huge...

nice job at this attempted effort to make Italy lose the 3rd CL spot

Re: Football Zone

well Mazzarri always played the EL this season with the b-team, problem is that even in the east european countries the teams know to play footy.

PS: If I was the coach I would have put a few more regular starters in the team tonight.

Vamos Nando! Come on Andy! A portuguese Vamos to André Sá e Marcelo Melo! Vamos Gastão!Auf geht's Dustin! Vamos ChristianLindell!Vamos David! Pojd Tomáš! Davai Dolgo!

Bolo Zenden, Bobo Gille, Zlatan

Holding the 0 in Amsterdam will be enough, hopefully.

Now we need Sparta Praha to knock off Chelski although Ajax-Chelsea is a nice match!

Chelsea won 0-1 in Prague so it's pretty likely Ajax will face Chelsea.

We should make it to the next round. And Chelsea, or any English team for that matter, doesn´t scare me. We don´t suit them.
