Re: Football Zone

It's been a while, but now I'm back at the forum so didn't want to waste this opportunity to dedicate today's Juve victory over Milan to my friend scarecrows. It was a pretty intense and tough match, though and, of course, thank god it didn't go to penalties (!!)

Re: Football Zone

Yeah, brilliant cup tie. Both sides played their part, and had good chances. Niang's toward the end stands out, though.

I was astonished you didn't say anything about Lazio last night. Personally I would have liked a win of Catania more

Haha, well I've worked out that 'Nazio' aren't exactly everyone's favourite club on here, so I should probably cut down on the gloating.

I watched it and it was a good win. This is turning into a glorious season for them. The chance to win three trophies and I would be disappointed if they ended up with none considering where they are now.

Meh, ignore the hate and celebrate! I'm always getting flamed because I'm a Juventus supporter, of the very few too (Forza BauerAl!!) but couldn't care less and I know it's in cool terms.

It's indeed a great season for Lazio so far, legit chances at both Coppa and Serie A as I predicted with how wisely they managed the transfer market in addition to the solid work of last season.

Real really inefficient yesterday against Osasuna. Wonder how long Kaka will stay there, he was a mess...

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Re: Football Zone

It's crazy how Real Madrid can go from being the best team in Europe last year, with the best squad in world football and arguably the best in their history in terms of strength in depth, to being such an utter mess this year.

Of course all the in-fighting hasn't helped. Last year there were also large rifts between Mourinho and many of his players, after their defeat at Levante and goalless draw at Santander early in the season, and then their Copa Del Rey defeat against Barcelona in January. However those disputes were quickly settled, as Mourinho was much more willing to make compromises. This year things have just got worse and worse. After finally wrestling the La Liga title away from Barcelona, maybe some of their players aren't quite as hungry as they were last season as well.

Blackburn appointing Appleton who was in charge at Blackpool for just 2 months was just crazy. At least our form improved significantly after we sacked Berg, with us picking up 10 points out of 12.
