Busquets

Shutting up the haters one match at a time.

Great match so far, amazing goals from both Falcao and Adriano.

Re: Football Zone

Just came home and saw the goals. Like Atletico and Falcao is amazing, but hope Barca takes this especially now that RM played a draw and Atletico is a clear second now.

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Re: Football Zone

Busquets is the best DM in the world, he's every bit as good at what he does as Xavi and Iniesta. Brilliant performance today, pretty much thwarting every Atlético counter attempt in this second half with his perfect positioning and anticipation. As someone in my Twitter timeline put it, "Busquets is fucking everywhere recovering every lost ball."

Great win
No team is even close to Barca ATM. Flukes like Chelsea last year shouldn't happen and Barca should lift both the La Liga and the CL throphy this year.

Although you have a point I agree with, hardly any amount of money can create a squad able to compete with this Barca side of Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and co. over a 38 game season. Real Madrid are the most expensive squad ever assembled and they managed it once in five years (in a year where Barca slipped up far more than usual), in the other four years they were not even close.

The CL is different, as the knockout format allows for some flukes, but even then Barcelona have won two of the last four.

Re: Football Zone

Messi scores twice .

La Liga title is in good shape but I never want to jinx anything. Barca has a good chance for the Spanish double this season.

Re: Football Zone

Watching an Arsenal match is like watching handball. It's a disappointment when an attack doesn't end in a goal for either team.
