do you want him as next FIFA-President? This is the consequence of getting him out at the UEFA. But that means that the corruption system Blatter continues as Platini learned well of him. Already the 2016 Euro is with 24 teams because Platini had to thank especially the presidents of Eastern Europe that they voted for him in 07 to make him President. Both FIFA and UEFA are incredible corruption dumps.

To be fair I don't think too many countries were trying to bid for it. Turkey is going for Olympics instead. The only two bids they had were Azerbaijan-Georgia and Ireland-Wales-Scotland. Not exactly heart pulsating options on the table.

Well I assume they won't be changing the format back and the same will happen for 2024.

And if it has to go to either of those, so be it, it'll be a new experience and a chance for those countries to develop on and off the field.

I think they already made it clear this will be a one off thing. And UEFA vice-president said that in his opinion it could still change for 2020 as well.

Re: Football Zone

I think this is indeed a one-off thing to celebrate the 60th anniversary.

EDIT: And thank God it is, too.

Except that they did by all accounts play a good hard match anyway, they wanted to finish 1st.

Finally we agree on something.

Platini is the biggest disgrace to football since... well I can't remember anyone...

Who voted for this things anyway. It's a clearly case of corruption. No courts can investigate this? I mean he is the president, but does he have full power to do whatever he wants?

Proud fan of:

Sporting Clube de Portugal, Fútbol Club Barcelona, Newcastle United Football Club, FK Vilniaus Žalgiris

Re: Football Zone

Arteta tucked the penalties away. I'll take the three points despite a sub-par performance. We need the confidence.

2 points off us, the leaders but today we threw away points against a fucking shite Portsmouth team. Most annoyed I've been all season.
