Shut your ugly mouth, boy. I can't stand Mamic and what I said was in no way related on my agreement or disagreement with what you've said.

Edit: It's not correct that no one in Croatia likes Mamic. There is actually a large amount of people that support him and think that Dinamo wouldn't be nowhere near successful if he weren't in charge of the club.
I'm proud to be on the right side though.

I'm in Barcelona at the moment. Going to watch the game tomorrow, really hope Messi breaks the record there . Great to see Schalke through and nice to see Ajax getting to Europa league

Re: Football Zone

I hope Dortmund get one of the weaker 2nd placed sides.

PSG as a group winner will be interesting. I'd like to see them draw RM, would be tasty. Despite the spending they've already shown up City and played a much better brand of football in the process. However Ibra doesn't win the European Cup so you know it will end somewhere.

Given the amount of money Zenit have invested recently a complete exit from Europe would have been embarrassing (albeit not quite as bad as City's) so at least them going into the Europa gives them a shot of repeating 2008, and they have the players to possibly do it, that's for sure.

Re: Football Zone

So RM can get PSG, Schalke, Shakhtar/Juventus, Bayern, Manu Utd.

Juvnetus, Bayern and Man utd are major fuck ups. 3 others are should win matches without underestimating any of clubs

Re: Football Zone

Arsenal team is very poor. Worst team since I follow them (invincibles season). And Rosicky is so unlucky, first match he plays in the season after another long injury, scores a goal to give Arsenal the lead, and then gets injured again and has to be substituted in the half-time.

Borussia Dortmund has a fantastic team I think they can reach the SF, or even the finals if they avoid Barcelona.

Re: Football Zone

only way Man U will probably win a KO round is if they draw Celtic, altho i wonder how they could look with a fit Vidic back - i'd take Prem'ship over ch.L this season anyway

Arsenal have brought thesedays on themselves, this is what you get when you sell 6 or 7 world class players in the last five seasons

the Barca/Man City feeder club.

Re: Football Zone

City's and Chelsea's owners don't really ever seem to know what they are doing, for the opposite reasons, Chelsea sack too many good managers too often, City get the wrong managers and keep them past their sell by date, it's too funny.

Re: Football Zone

I know it's not like Man City have a rich European history or anything (their one European trophy came at the 1970 Cup Winners' Cup), but I think Mancini and some of their fans might be happy that they didn't finish 3rd and get relegated into the Europa League. I think they would have viewed the competition as a burden rather than an opportunity.

I really hope that Man Utd and Real Madrid draw each in other in the last 16. That would be a fascinating heavyweight contest, plus Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford for the first time would be interesting to see.

With Mourinho pretty much certain to leave RM after the end of this season, I wonder how his legacy there will be viewed if he fails to win either the La Liga title or Champions League. Coaching the biggest club in the world, the best/deepest squad in the world and being given a huge spending budget, but only winning one La Liga title in 3 years in a two horse race, and failing to deliver La Decima in the Champions League in 3 attempts. I don't think that could be considered as hugely successful to be honest.

Re: Football Zone

hope Barca crush Benfica tonight and Messi breaks the world record

then Celtic only need a point from playing Spartak at home, but Wanyama is injured, huge blow for them without that big beast

he belongs at Man United
