Re: Football Zone

Sociedad win 5-2 in Valencia. I wonder if all those Valencia fans who hated Emery are enjoying things in the bottom half of the table.

Re: Football Zone

absolute moron this Mancini, fuming coz "Everton play like its a champions league final when they play us"

what would you know about champions league finals Mancini? you have never been close to one as a manager, have ya muppet

would think he would be thanking Everton for the 4-4 at Old Trafford last season that won the title for City, stupid arrogant prat

sack him and make Balotelli manager, City would improve overnight.

You can't play much worse than you did on Wednesday. I'm not impressed with Berg so far. Should be a really good game.

I was hoping the win would kickstart our season but we lost at home to Ipswich today - their last two away games were 5-0 and 6-0 defeats! Bizarre, this Championship.

Re: Football Zone

its not that Wenger isnt a good coach anymore but sometimes you can just out stay the welcome and need a new challenge

imo a change would be best for both him and the club

Madrid would take him when they kick that loser Mourinho out homeless

then Pep would go to Arsenal, Jose back to Chelsea, although City would sack Mancini in 2 minutes if Jose called them up

Re: Football Zone

Messi scored 2 goals today. He has now 84 this year. One goal away from Muller's record with some matches remaining. A fuckin' beast.

I feel a bit bad for Iniesta though because he will not get the Ballon D´or and he diserves one.

Same here. Iniesta deserved one of these so much, but it's hard for anyone - even someone as utterly brilliant as Iniesta - to get a look at these individual awards with Messi around and at his peak.

Rubbish. You obviously didn't see the game today, he was possibly our man of the match. We actually dominated most of the game, should have been 3-0 up at HT. The problem is confidence and nerves thanks to the fans showing no support for the manager and chairman showing no support for anyone.

Re: Football Zone

I'm so happy to see Swansea get a result like that. It's been long overdue, I've watched them a lot this year and Laudrup has got them playing beautiful football. Steve Clarke's only competition for manager of the year and Michu is the signing of the decade.

Until Adebayor was sent off they were the best team by far. They still beat Manchester United
