Is Redknapp a good choice for new QPR manager?
He's the perfect choice for new manager at any club. Can't believe how Tottenham treated him. Realistically we were never going to appoint him but at least geographically he's getting closer to us.

From a purely footballing perspective Rafa makes perfect sense - he'll solidify our defense and get Torres scoring. But the fans will always see him as the ex-Liverpoo scum who denied us two ECL finals while shit talking our club. Fans will jump on him anytime they get an excuse; they'll probably even blame him if we exit the ECL. Proves once again how out of touch the boss is with the fans.

Having said that, the extent of hostility on Sunday was absurd. I've never seen a new manager at any club get such an unwelcome reception at their first game. The fans are shooting themselves in the foot just as much as the management. If we don't get results soon AND I MEAN SOON we're on one dramatic road to self-destruction.

Yeah, that's true, but you have produced the two of the most shocking managers to have ever graced football, Steve Kean & Craig Levein.

Coincidence that there last names rhyme?

Cech is a fantastic GK, but I think that he was never the same after the head injury. He did have some brillant moments after that too, but not the same consistency he used to.

Van Nistelrooy in his prime was a freakin' goal machine. He scored practically every game.

And Wegner is the best coach for buying players. Apart from Henry and Bergkamp he also bought Fabregas, Ljungberg, Pires, Van Persie, etc. when they were relatively unknown and all turn out to be fantastic players.

Ledesma missed a penalty (or Brkic saved it). Very odd.

Gonzalez scores for Lazio. Forza!

Exactly as I expected. Rafa has made two objectives:

1. Load up the defence
2. Get Torres scoring

In theory it should work. In practice, theory never works out.

We'll see.

Are you sure he's the perfect choice, cause weren't there issues with him at Spurs, that's why they sacked him.

Don't you mean how out of touch the fans are?
