Re: Football Zone

Stunning goal from Mexes in Anderlecht. Contolled a long pass on his chest on the edge of the penalty area, and showed fabulous technique to execute an acrobatic volley into the far corner. Stunning.

Real men have singlehanded backhands.

But it's 2 years now that they haven't made the next stage, especially this year since they are now supposed to be the best team in England, for whatever reason they just can't perform in the CL.

Best team in England my arse.

LOL really? Look at the other teams.

Man Unit had a joke group, Arsenal is having trouble, Chelsea is almost out in a weaker group. Man City is out against Spain and Gernamy champs, they should have done better against Ajax, yes, that I agree.

Re: Football Zone

What a strike by Lukas! Love his work with Giroud. They link up so well.

I can safely say that I'm now very much looking forward to what both can do for us, rather than look back at what might have been if Robin had stayed.

Re: Football Zone

Bravo Dortmund. Group winners after demolition of Ajax and Madrid draw. I hope we get a Madrid-ManU R16 tie. Definitely want Dortmund to win the title.

Glad Milan go through as well, they have started to improve but QFs is best they can hope for.

Despicable firing of Di Matteo. Shouldn't have brought him back if you were just going to throw him overboard immediately. He can't be blamed for the massive holes in the squad.

Arsenal aren't having trouble in CL, they are in the next round, Chelsea isn't necessarily almost out, they still have a chance and Man C. are supposed to be better than Dortmund and are at least equal to Real M.

Re: Football Zone

For those who don't yet seem to know, Benitez is now officially Chelsea's new manager, although it's at least for now on a temporary basis.

Aren't they all, really

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

Re: Football Zone

If Benitez lasts the season he has done well.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Not a Steua supporter then, or just laughing at how poor they are?
