well if the Benfica defense doesn't see that a guy of 1,93 is there completely alone at 1m off the goal they don't deserve it differently.

Re: Football Zone

I still love Arturo Vidal. Such a gifted player, even though he was sold to Juventus a couple of seasons ago.

Re: Football Zone

I guess Leverkusen needed that money, though. One could argue that they did good things with it, purchasing Schürrle, Leno & Wollscheid, since.

Re: Football Zone

they are not known to be in financial need to sell players constantly. But they often find young players, "educate" them in the lecture "European football" and then earn good money for them.

Re: Football Zone

Juve

Only a draw needed now against Shaktar the last game (a win to advance in the first place though).

Re: Football Zone

Juve made Chelsea look like an amateur side today. Totally outclassed them in all facets of the match.

Re: Football Zone

Southgate saying Falcao is a physical striker that can replace Drogba!

I think Falcao is about 177cm tall. Yes, he's good in the air, but he's not a Drogba.

They're completely different in their style of play. Drogba was always a player who loved to stay in center front and wait for the chances, while Falcao is someone who runs around 90 mins and tries to create chances by himself, even if he also can convert high crosses.

Re: Football Zone

Absolutely pathetic disgusting attitude; beaten long before even taking the field. Fight and spirit were obviously left back in Munich last May, we haven't had any since.

Last season all over again; only this time the only miracle will be winning Europa League. I'd like to think this is the low point but we've already proven things can sink from disaster to catastrophe in this kind of shambolic form. Man Shity will dance all over us this weekend. After that, we need to get on a roll otherwise RDM will be joining AVB at Tottenham.

Re: Football Zone

Cheering for Juve felt so dirty last night, but fine result.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
