Serious potential and IMO he's being wasted right now. Can't think of a better defensive pair in the current squad than a possible Lucio-Acerbi tbh
Acerbi is very slow and often out of position

At the moment Mexes - Zapata (or Yepes) looks the more solid duo, although Zapata can have some nightmare mistakes

Re: Football Zone

Boring day of EPL action tomorrow. Highlight is the mid-table Anal-Flum derby.

Re: Football Zone

I bet tonnes of people are laughing at the fools (including me) who earlier claimed that Arsenal's defence had been toughened up by Steve Bould. We're a joke of a team right now. There's so many goals to be had against us.

Re: Football Zone

Poor Villa. Classic case of hesitant defending caused by zero confidence. Southampton with exactly the same problem. Both should have won today.

Winning 3-2 with late dramatic winners seems to be the fashion this year. Blue mancs started it, red mancs caught it and apparently so did we mid-week.

Re: Football Zone

Dzeko another late winning goal for City. He should probably be starting with Aguero over Tevez but obviously Mancini is afraid of what would happen with Tevez if he got dropped.

Re: Football Zone

Dzeko is the greatest super sub in football today. He should relish being the hero. It suits Man City.

Re: Football Zone

Typical Derby della Capitale. Two sending offs, five comic goals. Just glad that Lazio got the job done. Love the work Petkovic is doing there.
