Re: Football Zone

I think today is the most painless defeat we've ever suffered to United. Even though Robin van Pursestrings scored, it doesn't really matter. Fact is, with the help of the referees' association, Manchester United are just a better team than us by such a margin that has not existed in the Fergie-Wenger era. And this is by no means one of Fergie's stronger United sides, which tells you a lot about the quality (or lack of it) in our squad.

Still feel we're more than good enough to finish top four.

Re: Football Zone

Stramaccioni has some balls. Great young tactician and what a way to respond to some appalling, gutless officiating in the first half.

Re: Football Zone

Tagliavento is awful and makes mistakes in a huge amount of matches despite the sides facing off, that should be clear and well settled by now and moreover after today's match. Offside goal, nonexistent penalty... what a gem of a day for him.

It was a good and well deserved victory by Inter, one has to recognize their merits! Stramaccioni read the match perfectly but should be less of a whiner and take sarcastic comments in sports as they are, enjoy the win you know.

Juve should build on this loss, time to show what the team is made off and even if the winning streak is over, let's hope the ties in CL are too! Giovinco no more.

fino alla fine forza Juve

Juve needs to win this week. If not it will be almost impossible to get to the knockout rounds. Shaktar are playing at a very high level.

Re: Football Zone

I've seen the Inter penalty call about 20 times and I still don't understand what they called. Phantom Marchisio handball? That was offset by the opening offside goal though. Good to see someone stand up and possibly challenge Juve this year.

Re: Football Zone

Depressing how negative we were after taking the lead - becoming a trend under RDM. With the quality of our defensive organization we'll screw up far too often trying to play out 1-0 leads. In any case it's a loser attitude unless you have a manager who knows how to park the team bus (ie Mourinho).

Definitely missed Mata, Ramires and Luiz today - hopefully back Wednesday. Torres, Hazard and Oscar just don't get involved enough to gain rhythm or confidence. Moses has been by far our best signing in terms of value for money. Wonderful seeing him score twice this week.

Overall, we deserve to be off the top this weekend.

San Lorenzo de Almagro (Viruzzz is a fan too).

It's one of the 5 most important teams from here but we're in a bad situation now. We've fighting to avoid relegation for the last 2 years.
