Re: Football Zone

LOL FIFA! Mancini????? Di Matteo???? Not including Conte in the list for best coach is beyond a joke, just wow. Disgraceful. Also funny to see Balotelli in the list for Golden Ball and not David Silva, i guess it's part of their campaign against racism

Tennis match.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I saw that match. It was freakin unbelievable. Although, it all came from extremely stupid defense mistakes from both teams. Not to mention goals scored long past the half's last minutes. If the referee would have blown the whistle sooner, Reading would have won 4-3. I would have loved to have paid a ticket and seen this. Would have been worth all the money.

Do you even know for sure what Clattenburg said? No. Do I? No.

So let's not jump to conclusions and say he is a racist.

Re: Football Zone

I can't complain being an Arsenal fan. There are lots of highs, plenty of lows. Never a dull moment, however. Yesterday proved it.

It got me thinking, that match against Reading represented our 2011/2012 season, truncated into 120 minutes.

Really awful and full of mistakes at the beginning. Relentless but vulnerable in the middle. Nervous but threatening by the end.

Re: Football Zone

More hilarious League Cup action as Chelsea beat ManU 5-4 in extra time, Chelsea three times a goal down got equalizer to send to extra time on last kick of regulation.

Re: Football Zone

Toto Di Natale scores 2 more goals for Udinese to move to 16th all time among Serie A goalscorers ahead of Roberto Mancini, Pippo Inzaghi and Luigi Riva. 4 goals in his last 2 games. Still prolific at 35 years old.

Re: Football Zone

Swansea played well against Chelsea and definitely deserved their draw.

Wigan should have won by more than 1-0 they were clearly better than a lacklustre Spurs. If it wasn't for Freidel with saves off Kone and Maloney in the first half. At the same time they got a bit passive after taking the lead and the old classic of defending too deeply but luckily they didn't get punished for not converting their chances.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
