Amazed Dnipro have 9 points in that group. One of Napoli or PSV is heading out of that group by the looks of it.

Re: Football Zone

So sad Felix Magath got sacked, at least it was SC Freiburg that finished him off.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Do you really think that´s sad?

I mean of course he has accomplished a lot in his managing career, but he often did have problems with the players or with officials from the teams after a while.

I wouldn´t blame him for his fitness training, probably a lot of players really had some deficit there.
But when he just bought player after player without ever finding a regular team Magath simply never managed to create a real team after he returned to Wolfsburg.
Players had good matches and the following week they weren´t even substitutes. There was a new defensive line-up every week. The players didn´t know their team members good enough so mistakes happened again and again.

Do a search on this thread about Magath and you will see the general tone towards him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Football Zone

Boy, we need A senior player to step up today, and that's what happened. I'm not going to pretend we were great, we were pretty awful to tell the truth. That goal is massive, though. Relieves so much pressure. Keeps us within touching distance of our minimum aim, a top four spot.

Re: Football Zone

Hahahaha West Ham what a primitive football team they are. Within 5 seconds of kick off they belted a long ball do they think it's Gaelic football. It's peasant football, hoof and hope for the best.

Wigan ran these panelbeaters ragged should have won by more and would love West Ham to go down but they won't since they are very effective and will win enough matches at home during the season.

Wolfsburg win 3-0 funny what happens when they sack Magath.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I'd much prefer to see those thugs at Stoke go down then West Ham.

I turned off at 3-0, still want them to go down.

Stoke are West Ham with better passing.

Re: Football Zone

English refs are a disgrace. A clear Suarez winning goal in the 94th minute disallowed for a nonexistent offside.

Suarez should have been sent off for stamping on Distin's achilles.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Re: Football Zone

I can't stand Torres, but this was really harsh. Giving him a 2nd yellow card for something that might not even have been a dive, even worse with that being Chelsea's second sending off today.

Man U need more refeereeing to go their way. Torres actually got fouled that is the funniest thing.
