Re: Football Zone

Chels Reserves - ManU Reserves

Both teams should agree to play 4th choice keepers and 1st team strikers. At least we'd have some entertainment.

Klose asking the ref to cancel his goal due to him scoring with his hand.
Napoli players congratulate him immediately

Talking about breaking the norm, you will pretty much never see this, guess he's better than Maradona, Messi and Henry now.

Context my friend, no way Klose would've had the same attitude in those way more important matches + playing for his country (Henry, Maradona).

He would have. He's a class act.

And that was a big match for Lazio and Napoli.

A Juve fan finding it hard to believe in someone being honest and not cheating at all costs, no way.

Re: Football Zone

Take a chill pill guys, never questioned him being a class act or not it's just that you can't compare a typical (not saying not important) Serie A match with a WC or a qualifying match for an International competition, specially in a case were it's not super blatant and there's a lot at stake.

To add, i'm all in favour of fair play and, yes, a proud Juve tifoso too! Come on, don't be close minded, or flame on if you want but it's a very typical combination among the supporters.

Re: Football Zone

Classy by Klose, but he could have been even classier by not punching the ball into the goal in the first place.

Re: Football Zone

Would Klose have done it if it was a winning goal late on?

Re: Football Zone

he was kinda forced to admit it

dont know if the ref had already spoken with the linesman because maybe he saw it too

what about the behind the goal ref, can he give opinion about such situations or only if the ball passes the line or not?

Nedved once fell inside the box and told the referre who had awarded them a penalty (Colina was IIRC) that it wasn't a foul

Re: Football Zone

Thank god Kean is finally gone. He took us from a mid-table EPL team under Allardyce to a Championship one and was simply way out of his depth as a manager, though he is clearly a decent coach. And behind the scenes he was a despicable man despite acting as the innocent victim in front of the TV cameras.

If only the Venky's and Shebby Singh could all just fuck off as well that would be great, but that is almost too much to ask for.
